Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Dharamshala – McLeod Ganj & Local Exploration
Arrive in Dharamshala and check in at the hotel. Begin your journey with a visit to the serene Dalai Lama Temple Complex in McLeod Ganj, soaking in the peaceful spiritual atmosphere. Explore the vibrant local markets filled with Tibetan handicrafts and cafés while enjoying scenic views of the Dhauladhar ranges. Overnight stay in Dharamshala.
Day 2: Dharamshala Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit Bhagsu Nag Temple followed by a short walk to Bhagsu Waterfall. Continue to Naddi View Point for panoramic Himalayan views and visit Dal Lake surrounded by deodar forests. Later, explore Norbulingka Institute to learn about Tibetan art and culture, visit Kangra Art Museum, and enjoy a stroll through the tea gardens. Overnight stay in Dharamshala.
Day 3: Dharamshala to Dalhousie
After breakfast, check out and drive to Dalhousie, a charming colonial hill station. On arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. In the evening, take a leisurely walk along Mall Road and visit Subhash Baoli and St. John’s Church while enjoying the pleasant mountain climate. Overnight stay in Dalhousie.
Day 4: Khajjiar & Local Dalhousie
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Khajjiar, often referred to as the “Mini Switzerland of India.” Visit Khajjiar Lake and enjoy the scenic beauty of Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary surrounded by dense forests. Return to Dalhousie and explore Panchpula, Satdhara Falls, and Bakrota Hills before spending time at local markets. Overnight stay in Dalhousie.
Day 5: Dalhousie to Amritsar
After breakfast, check out and drive to Amritsar. On arrival, check in at the hotel and later visit the iconic Golden Temple to experience its divine atmosphere. In the evening, witness the patriotic Wagah Border ceremony before returning to the hotel. Overnight stay in Amritsar.
Day 6: Amritsar Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit Jallianwala Bagh and Durgiana Temple. Later, proceed to the Wagah Border to witness the famous Beating Retreat ceremony. Return to the hotel after an eventful day. Overnight stay in Amritsar.
Day 7: Departure
After breakfast, complete hotel check-out and transfer to Amritsar Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey, concluding the tour with beautiful memories of Dharamshala, Dalhousie, and Amritsar.
