Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Hanoi & Old Quarter
Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport. Transfer to hotel. Evening walk around Hoan Kiem Lake and Old Quarter. Enjoy Pho, spring rolls, and Vietnamese Bia Hoi for a true local welcome. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 02: Hanoi City Tour & Train Street
Explore the highlights of Hanoi including the historic Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside view), One Pillar Pagoda, and Temple of Literature. Later, visit the famous Hanoi Train Street to witness the unique experience of a train passing through narrow residential lanes. Overnight stay in Hanoi
Day 03: Hoa Lu Ancient Capital & Tam Coc Boat Ride
Early morning transfer to Ninh Binh (approx. 2 hours). Visit the Hoa Lu Ancient Capital — ancient royal temples set against dramatic limestone hills. Proceed to Tam Coc for a 2-hour sampan boat ride through lush paddy fields flanked by karst mountains — often dubbed 'Halong Bay on Land'. Cycle through Tam Coc village and visit the cave pagoda of Bich Dong. Return to Hanoi for overnight stay.
Day 04: Transfer to Halong Bay — Overnight Cruise
Drive to Halong Bay pier. Board deluxe cruise. Sail among towering limestone karsts, visit a cave, enjoy kayaking through hidden lagoons, and a seafood dinner under the stars. Overnight on Halong Bay cruise.
Day 05: Halong Sunrise & Departure
Rise early for sunrise over the karst-studded horizon. Enjoy morning tai chi on the sundeck, then breakfast as the ship returns to harbour. Disembark, transfer back to Hanoi, and proceed to Noi Bai International Airport for your onward flight, departing with the sights of jade waters and ancient stone mountains etched in memory.
