Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Tokyo – Modern City Introduction
Upon your arrival at Narita or Haneda Airport, you will transfer to your hotel in Tokyo and check in. Afterwards, you can explore the vibrant Shibuya area and witness the famous Shibuya Crossing in action, along with a visit to the iconic Hachiko Statue, all while enjoying the dazzling evening city lights. For spectacular skyline views, you have the option to visit the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building observation deck. You'll stay overnight in Tokyo.
Day 02: Tokyo City Tour – Tradition & Innovation
After breakfast, you'll begin your Tokyo sightseeing with a visit to the historic Sensō-ji Temple in Asakusa, followed by a leisurely stroll along the vibrant Nakamise Street lined with traditional shops. From there, you'll proceed to the Imperial Palace for a photo stop to view the outer grounds, before visiting the peaceful Meiji Shrine, nestled within a serene forested area in the heart of the city. To complete your day, you'll have time to explore either the upscale Ginza district or the bustling Akihabara area, famous for electronics and anime culture. You'll stay overnight in Tokyo.
Day 03: Mount Fuji & Hakone Excursion
After breakfast, you'll enjoy a full-day excursion to the scenic Mount Fuji region. Weather permitting, you'll visit the 5th Station of Mount Fuji for breathtaking mountain views before continuing to Hakone, where you can experience a relaxing cruise on Lake Ashi and explore the volcanic valley of Owakudani, subject to conditions. You'll return to Tokyo in the evening for an overnight stay.
Day 04: Bullet Train to Osaka – Dotonbori Experience
After breakfast, you will transfer to the station for your first Shinkansen experience aboard the Tōkaidō Shinkansen from Tokyo to Osaka, a smooth and exciting journey of approximately 2.5 to 3 hours at speeds of up to 300 km/h. Upon arrival in Osaka, you'll check into your hotel. In the evening, you can explore the vibrant Dotonbori area, famous for its dazzling neon lights and delicious street food. You'll stay overnight in Osaka
Day 05: Osaka & Kyoto Highlights
After breakfast, you'll visit Osaka Castle, where you can enjoy panoramic views and immerse yourself in Japanese history. Later, you'll take a short train ride to Kyoto, beginning with a visit to the stunning Fushimi Inari Taisha, famous for its thousands of vibrant red torii gates. If time permits, you'll also explore the enchanting Arashiyama Bamboo Grove before returning to Osaka in the evening for an overnight stay.
