Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Phnom Penh
Arrive at Phnom Penh International Airport and transfer to your hotel. After check-in, relax and refresh.In the evening, enjoy a peaceful walk along the riverside promenade near the Mekong River where children can enjoy open spaces and local street snacks. Overnight stay in Phnom Penh.
Day 02: Phnom Penh Cultural Exploration
After breakfast, visit the beautiful Royal Palace and the nearby Silver Pagoda, where families can admire Cambodia’s royal architecture and glittering interiors.Later, enjoy light cultural sightseeing such as Wat Phnom Temple and Central Market for souvenir shopping. (Tuol Sleng Museum can be optional depending on children’s age, as it is historical and sensitive.) Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay.
Day 03: Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville
After breakfast, transfer by private vehicle to Sihanoukville (approx. 4–5 hours). Check in at a beachside hotel.Evening free to relax at Serendipity Beach or enjoy a sunset by the sea. Overnight stay in Sihanoukville.
Day 04: Beach & Island Fun
Enjoy a relaxed family beach day. Optional short island hopping boat trip with snorkeling in shallow waters suitable for beginners.Children can enjoy sand play and calm beach swimming areas while parents relax. Overnight stay in Sihanoukville.
Day 05: Sihanoukville to Koh Rong
After breakfast, take a speedboat ferry to Koh Rong Island. Upon arrival, check in at your beachfront resort.Spend the rest of the day relaxing on white sandy beaches with crystal-clear water. The peaceful environment makes it perfect for family bonding time. Overnight stay in Koh Rong.
Day 06: Koh Rong Leisure & Nature
Full day at leisure. Families can enjoy kayaking, paddleboarding, light snorkeling, or simply relaxing by the beach.In the evening, you may opt for a short boat ride to witness bioluminescent plankton (seasonal and weather dependent), a magical experience for children. Overnight stay.
Day 07: Departure
After breakfast, transfer by ferry back to Sihanoukville and proceed to the airport for your onward journey with wonderful family memories of Cambodia.
