Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Acclimatization
Upon arrival at Leh Airport, meet our representative and transfer to the hotel. Check in and relax as you begin your journey in the breathtaking landscapes of Ladakh. The remainder of the day is dedicated to rest and proper acclimatization to the high altitude. If you feel comfortable, take a light walk around the nearby local market to gently explore the surroundings. Spend the evening at leisure at the hotel, followed by an overnight stay.
Day 2: Local Sightseeing – Monasteries & Landmarks
After breakfast, begin your sightseeing with a visit to Shanti Stupa for panoramic views of the Himalayas, followed by an exploration of Leh Palace showcasing the region’s royal heritage. Continue to the Hall of Fame, a museum dedicated to Indian Army bravery, and then drive to Magnetic Hill to witness its unique gravity-defying phenomenon. Later, stop at the stunning Indus Zanskar Confluence (Sangam) where the two rivers meet, before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Excursion to Nubra Valley via Khardung La
After breakfast, drive towards Nubra Valley via Khardung La, one of the highest motorable passes in the world, offering spectacular mountain views. Descend into the beautiful Nubra Valley and visit Diskit Monastery, known for its impressive Maitreya Buddha statue. Later, explore the unique cold desert landscape at Hunder Sand Dunes, where you may enjoy an optional camel ride on the double-humped Bactrian camels. Check in at your camp or hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Day 4: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake
Following breakfast, drive towards the breathtaking Pangong Lake via scenic mountain routes. On arrival, admire the mesmerizing changing shades of the crystal-clear lake set against dramatic Himalayan backdrops. Enjoy photography and leisure time by the lakeside before checking in at your camp. Spend a peaceful evening surrounded by nature. Overnight stay near Pangong Lake.
Day 5: Pangong to Leh via Monasteries
After breakfast, begin your return journey to Leh. Enroute, visit the beautiful Thiksey Monastery, known for its impressive architecture resembling the Potala Palace, and the historic Hemis Monastery, one of the largest and wealthiest monasteries in Ladakh. Continue your drive back to Leh and check in at the hotel. Relax and enjoy your final evening in the region. Overnight stay.
Day 6: Departure to Leh Airport . Tour Ends
After breakfast, this morning, check out from your hotel and bid a final goodbye to this beautiful destination. Board your vehicle and drive back to the airport for your flight back to home. Return home with wonderful memories.
