Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar
Arrive in Srinagar and transfer to your hotel or traditional houseboat. After check-in, unwind and soak in the serene atmosphere of the valley. Later, enjoy a peaceful Shikara ride on Dal Lake, drifting past floating gardens and wooden houseboats with the Zabarwan Hills in the backdrop. Evening free for leisure or a stroll through nearby markets. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 2: Srinagar Sightseeing
Explore the timeless beauty of Srinagar with visits to the famous Mughal Gardens – Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi – known for their elegant terraces and fountains. Continue to Pari Mahal for sweeping city views and visit the historic Shankaracharya Temple perched on a hilltop. Spend the evening exploring local handicrafts and tasting Kashmiri delicacies. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 3: Srinagar to Gulmarg
Drive to Gulmarg, a picturesque hill destination surrounded by meadows and snow-covered peaks. On arrival, check in at your hotel and relax. Later, take a walk across the lush green landscapes or opt for the famous Gulmarg Gondola ride (subject to availability) for panoramic Himalayan views. Overnight stay in Gulmarg.
Day 4: Gulmarg to Pahalgam
After breakfast, journey towards Pahalgam through scenic valleys and charming villages. Upon arrival, check in and spend time enjoying the tranquil setting along the Lidder River. You may explore the local market or simply relax amidst the pine forests and mountain air. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.
Day 5: Pahalgam Exploration & Return to Srinagar
Visit the beautiful Betaab Valley and Aru Valley, known for their breathtaking landscapes and lush surroundings. Depending on time, explore Chandanwari before driving back to Srinagar. Check in at the hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 6: Departure from Srinagar
After breakfast, complete check-out formalities and transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey, taking with you wonderful memories of your scenic Kashmir getaway.
